Athena Pilates is delighted to offer a re-treat day to mark the Spring Equinox rescheduled for Saturday 9 April.
The theme of the day will be goal setting so if you are feeling a bit stuck and unmotivated this may be for you. It will be a relaxing afternoon of movement, meditation, mindfulness and vision boards!
There will, of course, be fresh home made bread to start the session plus teas, snacks and cake.
The day will include a gentle Pilates movement and mobility session, trigger point Pilates to help relieve tired bodies and aching muscles and meditation to help align your mind, body and spirit!

As we approach another school holiday, Athena Pilates is delighted to offer a self love themed holiday club for children aged 5 to 11 years old.
As a qualified Pilates instructor, with two young children, I am very passionate about the benefits of Pilates for children in terms of strengthening their core and improving their posture. Pilates is also fun, helps concentration and focus, and improves co-ordination and self-control. This is in addition to keeping them active, flexible and healthy. As well as Pilates, the children will take part in Mindfulness activities including mindfulness drawing, working with crystals, guided meditation, discussing the Law of Attraction and positivity.

Looking for fun activities for the children over the Easter break? Limited spaces available for the 1300hrs- 1600hrs session on Tuesday 5 April!
Athena Pilates and Dynamo Concise Training are delighted to offer a 3-hour first aid course aimed at primary school children aged 5 to 11 years.
This fun and interactive course will give children the confidence and knowledge to deal with emergency situations, which in my opinion is a vital life skill.
No previous experience or qualifications are necessary, but they must be able to kneel and bend down to perform first aid techniques. This is a non-regulated course and attendance is all that is required.
The course will cover the following
• What is First Aid?
• Defibrillation
• First Aid kits
• Recovery position
• Choking
• Resuscitation (CPR)
• DR ABC
• Wounds and bleeding
• Asthma
• Shock
• Safety
• Communication and contacting the emergency services
Course cost is £30 per child and children will receive a completion certificate.
